About California Nurses Honor Guard™
Conducting her first ceremony in 2019 Deborah L. Merriman-Bird PhD MSN RN had long been interested in mobilizing nurses in a statewide association to provide honor guard ceremonies to those who dedicated their lives to serving their communities. At the beginning of 2024 California Nurses Honor Guard™ was organized to unite nurses who want to show their gratitude for those who have come before them and paved the way for the next generation of nurses. California Nurses Honor Guard® is a California Non-Profit and IRS designated 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
California Nurses Honor Guard® is a California Public Benefit Non-Profit organization. The mission of CNHG is to honor nurses for their service to the community.
