About California Nurses Honor Guard

Conducting her first ceremony in 2019 Deborah Merriman-Bird PhD RN had long been interested in mobilizing nurses in a statewide association to provide honor guard ceremonies to those who dedicated their lives to serving their communities. At the beginning of 2024 California Nurses Honor Guard was formed to unite nurses who want to show their gratitude for those who have come before them and paved the way for the next generation of nurses. We are a California Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.

California Nurses Honor Guard is a California Public Benefit Non-Profit organization. The mission of CNHG is to honor nurses for their service to the community.
